Circle

Circle is bit tricky and requires imagination or visualization power, lets imagine and calculate the Area of Circle by converting the Circle into Rectangle

Steps:-

  1. Splitting the Circle into 8 pieces of cone
  2. Placing all odd no (1, 3, 5, 7) cones pieces down and placing all even no (2, 4, 6, 8) cones upside down on odd no cones, it will look like Parallelogram.
  3. Now Splitting the 8th cone further into 2 half cone and placing one half in front and forming shape like rectangle
  4. Similarly if we split the circle into ‘n’ no of cone pieces then the smaller curve region is negligible and it forms a perfect rectangle shape

Since in this topic we’ve discussed about Parallelogram, I’ve derived the parallelogram formulas by converting it to rectangle. Here parallelogram split into 3 pieces, then moved the 3rd piece near to 1st piece until it forms a perfect rectangle.
